Our wishlist

Please help us by donating items to support our shelter. We regularly update our list of needs to ensure we have essential supplies for our operations. Your contributions make a significant difference in the lives of the animals under our care. Donations can be dropped off at our location, or you can explore our online wish lists for convenient purchasing options. Thank you for your generous support!

Right now, we need your help with the following:

We appreciate all donations, and if you're unsure whether we can use something, here's some additional information:

Things we need for our community:

  • Dry food for cats and dogs (we can accept open bags and freeze them for safety)

These will be added to the mix of kibble we deliver to pet parents in need.

Things we can pass along to new adopters:

  • New cat and dog toys that aren't tough enough for use here

  • Plush dog toys

  • New collars

  • Pet food samples

  • Dog waste bags

Things we can't use right now but will make available to other pets in need in our community via our "free" table:

If you have high-quality items you'd like to donate, we may be able to auction them at our annual Fall Furr Ball to raise funds for the shelter!

While we greatly appreciated your donations of newspapers and plastic bags, we currently don't have a use for them. Please consider passing them along to someone who needs them or to a recycling station.

We appreciate your generosity, and please know that this information is just a general guideline.

Our other wish lists:

These lists include a variety of items that the shelter needs, from basic supplies like food and bedding to enrichment toys that help keep the animals mentally and physically stimulated. Items can be ordered and drop shipped directly to BMHS.
