Blue Mountain Humane Society offers guided tours of our shelter to individuals, families, schools, and community groups interested in learning more about our mission and the animals in our care.

Tours are a great way to:

See our facilities and learn how we provide care for homeless pets
Meet some of the animals currently available for adoption
Learn about our programs, volunteer opportunities, and community services

Tours are by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance. Please complete the form below to request a tour. Our staff will follow up to confirm availability and provide details for your visit.

I understand that touring an active animal shelter may involve interaction with animals and movement through areas where shelter operations are taking place. I agree to follow all safety instructions given by BMHS staff and release Blue Mountain Humane Society, its staff, and volunteers from liability for any injury or incident during the scheduled tour, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Scheduling Follow‑Up – A BMHS staff member will contact you within 3 business days to confirm the date and time or suggest alternate options.
Tour Details – Once confirmed, you will receive an email with arrival instructions, parking information, and safety guidelines.
Day of Tour – Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early and check in at the front desk.
