PET ADOPTIONAt the Animal Shelter we accept applications from people looking to add a pet to their family. We use applications to determine appropriate home settings for the animal requested. This includes a fenced yard when necessary, ages of children, and landlord approval if needed. We are looking to place an animal in a permanent home. We look to see that other pets are cared for and will be compatible with the new pet. New owners must be able to meet the financial responsibilities of a new pet. |

ACCEPTANCE OF FOUND ANIMALS OR PETS THAT CAN NOT BE KEPT ANY LONGER
We accept animals during our open hours. Each animal that enters this shelter receives care that costs an average of $115.00. A $50.00 acceptance fee is required for all surrendered animals, and there is a fee for some stray animals depending upon the area in which it was found. Payment for surrendered animals must be paid in full at the time of surrender. Please call for information on which areas require a fee for strays. This money goes towards care of the animals and is sincerely appreciated. We would rather see the animal safe and sheltered than put out where it is in danger or abandoned.
