We do not use the term "No-Kill" to describe our efforts, as we maintain that there are situations where euthanasia is the most humane outcome for a particular animal based on injury, other medical needs, temperament or disposition. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and promote kindness to companion animals in our community.
Values
We are committed to stopping the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable pets by ending overpopulation and homelessness. To achieve this, we provide quality shelter, spay/neuter, foster care, adoption, and re-homing services for companion animals in our community. We provide spay/neuter and humane education, animal control services, and cruelty and neglect investigation services to ensure that companion animals have home with responsible, committed and loving caregivers.
Companion Animals
Companion animals are dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, and other similar pets. Our shelter is not able to provide shelter for wildlife or livestock within the scope of our mission.
